Reading Our Ratings

Our ratings are compiled from the opinions of students that have taken the classes from the listed professors. In no way should our ratings be construed as fact, they should be considered as opinion and as with all opinions you should experience it for yourself to know your reaction to it.

On each individual rating page, you will see two things. The first of these is a form to rate the professor. Use this form to post your own rating of the professor. Above the form you will be able to see the ratings for that professor from other students. If you rate a professor and don't see your ratings, try refreshing the page. Remember to be honest when rating your professors, so your fellow students can use it as a helpful tool.

The ratings are based on a scale of 1 thru 5 that have had phrases assigned to them to help clarify the rating process. The scale goes from 1 being the worst and 5 being the best.

The cumulative final deals with that class only. A professor may or may not have a cumulative final during the semester. The opinion on our site reflects the history of the class only.

Class work and test difficulty will vary from student to student, and will depend on your specific learning style. It is also based on a 1 thru 5 scale to measure the general opinion of the class students.

Our comment section is for students to leave a couple sentences on what they thought of the class.

Posting Your Own Ratings

Posting your own ratings is simple. Located at the bottom of each professors page is a quick form to fill out to rate a professor. Simply fill in all of the fields and click "Enter My Rating" to place your rating.

If you do not find your professor in our comprehensive list simply follow this link to have your professor added. All submitted new professors will be posted within 3 to 5 business days. After the new professor appears simply go to their page and enter your rating.

The comments portion of the rating form is designed to express your personal feelings towards the class. This is not an opportunity to bash your professors or classmates. Please do not use profanity or any derogatory statements. These poor statements can be edited or removed from the rating. The comments are reviewed on a regular basis for content, so please abide by the rules and keep it clean. Follow this link to report comment abuse. (Link removed due to abuse).

After entering your ratings you may need to re-load the professor's page to see your rating.
